IND vs ENG: 5th T20I Preview – Heavyweights clash in the grand final

The five-match T20I series between India and England has reached its climax. The clash between the top two teams in the format has lived up to its billing and the decider is set to take place on Saturday. After being 1-2 down, the hosts defied all the odds and defended a total breaking the trend of the series.

England, on the other hand, will now be worried about the momentum the hosts have got. However, they seem to be a stronger side even in these conditions and will have to put their best foot forward to win the series.

Team News

India

The home side is unlikely to tinker with the winning combination. Ishan Kishan missed the previous game due to injury but his replacement, Suryakumar Yadav slammed 57 off 31 balls to seal his place. KL Rahul, despite his failures, has got the backing of the team management and will continue to be the preferred opener. India are again expected to go with five bowlers. Rahul Chahar will also retain his place.

England

The visitors struggled against the variations from the Indian bowlers. They too are unlikely to make any changes to their line-up. Though England will be worried for Dawid Malan who has failed to convert his slow starts in four matches. Even Chris Jordan has missed his line too often going for plenty at the death.
