He also has 173 wickets and 1544 runs under his belt in 120 One Day Internationals.
Irfan’s 4-year-old son Imran Pathan is all set to follow the footsteps of his father from childhood only, Imran has shown keen interest in the gentleman’s game. India Legends register a comprehensive victory over South Africa Legends
India, under the leadership of Sachin Tendulkar, became the first team to qualify for the second stage of the elite tournament as they scripted a stunning victory over South Africa Legends in Raipur by 56 runs. The match commenced with visiting captain Jonty Rhodes winning the toss and electing to bowl first.
Put to bat, India presented a steller show as they posted a massive total of 204 runs on the board on the back of 60 runs scored by Sachin and a power-hitting knock of not out 52 runs off 22 deliveries by Yuvraj Singh. For SA, seamer Monde Zondeki ended with two wickets while G Kruger had one under his belt.
The second innings saw Indian bowlers ruling the show as they successfully restricted South Africa to 148 runs in 20 overs. Yusuf Pathan emerged as the highest wicket-taker for India by picking three wickets while Yuvraj also scalped two wickets.
