Batsmen who can hit 6 sixes in an over in international cricket
West Indies captain Kieron Pollard on Thursday became only the third cricketer to hit six sixes in international cricket. He did so against Sri Lankan spinner Akila Dananjaya in the 1st T20I at Antigua. Before Pollard, India’s Yuvraj Singh and South Africa’s Herschelle Gibbs created history.
Here are some big-hitters who can also join this elusive list of batsmen in international cricket.

Eoin Morgan can be considered as someone who can easily blow apart any bowling line up on his day. One of the reasons for including him in this list is the memory that’s still afresh among cricket fans where he smashed 17 sixes against the likes of Mujeeb and Rashid Khan who happen to be among the top 10 bowlers in the world. The English skipper, across formats, has hit 337 sixes and these numbers prove that he can achieve the unique record.
3. Hardik Pandya:

Hardik Pandya has established himself as one of the finishers in the Indian Cricket team within a short span of time. Though he has been termed as an all-rounder, it’s his ability to clear the boundary on almost every possible delivery that makes him special. Though he doesn’t seem to be well built physically, he manages to pack a punch. In the white-ball formats, he has a strike rate of 115.43 (ODI) and 149.23 (T20I) and the strike rate is the main criteria that differentiate a hitter from other batsmen.
2. David Miller:
If AB de Villiers is considered as a teacher in the school of power-hitting then definitely David Miller will be his first pupil from the South African team. He made his debut in the year 2010 and since then the world has witnessed the potential of David Miller especially as a power hitter. In 2018, he hit Bangladeshi player Mohammed Saifuddin for five consecutive sixes in an over and that makes him one of the contenders to be in this list.
1. Andre Russell:

West Indies is famous for giving the game fine hitters of the cricket ball over the years. Andre Russell is one among them who has the ability to clear the boundary six times in an over. When in the right rhythm, he can send chills down the spine of the best bowlers in the business and can clear the deliveries which other batsmen opt to respect. In ODIs and T20Is, he has a strike rate of 130.23 and 151.26 respectively.
