Kohli first attracted the national interest by leading the Indian Under-19 team to a World Cup victory in 2008. In the same year, he debuted in the 50-over format against Sri Lanka at Dambulla. Within three years, he appeared for India in all three formats. After hitting his maiden Test ton in 2012, the batsman never looked back and now finds a place amongst India’s all-time greats.
