Adidas employees ask the world to be ‘Ready for Sport’

Adidas, one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, has released a brand-new film ‘Ready for Sport’ as part of their fundraising efforts to fight the global coronavirus pandemic. This is the second phase of their #hometeam narrative, and they’ve made it pretty special.

The most peculiar aspect of this exclusive film is that it has been released by the employees of Adidas, who are leading the brand’s voice in times of distress, sending out words of motivation and hope for a sport-filled life post the pandemic.

The film comes as a response from Adidas to the Covid-19 global relief efforts. The brand is currently on a fund-collecting spree for the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

This is also the first time the company has launched a campaign solely through its internal employee community. An open-source film, ‘Ready for Sport’ features the #hometeam Adidas employees, over 2500 athletes and the whole gamut of the sporting community. The company’s employees were given an exclusive 24-hour window to post the film on their personal social media profiles and send out inspiring, positive messages to the world, and highlight what each of them is ‘ready for’.
