Twitter lauds India U-19 boys after their quarter-final thrashing of Australia
The India U-19 team continued their magnificent run at the 2020 World Cup in South Africa, advancing to the semi-finals. They thrashed Australia U-19 by 74 runs in the quarter-finals, with a commanding performance both with the bat and on the field. Batting first, it was a tricky start for India as the Australian bowlers were bang on the money with their line and length. The pitch at Potchefstroom was also sluggish in nature, with the batters finding it tough to play against the spinners.

But some excellent knocks by Yashasvi Jaiswal (62) and Atharva Ankolekar (55) helped India set a target of 234 for the Australians to chase. Kartik Tyagi with 4 scalps then broke the backs of the Australian batting order as they were bowled out for a paltry 159.
After the victory, Twitterati was full of praise for the U-19 boys, lauding their efforts. Here we take a look at a few of them:

Very impressive finish from India. So many players just look ready. At this level, they have played more cricket than anyone else and the system gives them more opportunities than anywhere else.
