Matthew Wade announces retirement from international cricket
Australian cricketer Matthew Wade has officially announced his retirement from international cricket, marking the end of a 13-year career in which he played 36 Tests, 97 ODIs, and 92 T20Is. Known for his grit and versatility, Wade has been a key player, especially noted for his contributions during the 2021 T20 World Cup. In his post-retirement plans, Wade is set to join the Australian coaching staff for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Pakistan. However, he will continue playing domestically for Tasmania and the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League for at least two more seasons.
