In the T20s, a batter’s priority is to score runs quickly and at a faster rate. One just can’t hang around for a long time in the middle. Batters look to go after the bowling right from ball one because of the nature and demand of the format. But in T20 internationals there have been players who played fairly slow in their respective careers.

5.Mark Boucher (97.45)
Former South African wicketkeeper batter Mark Boucher had played 25 T20Is between the years 2005 to 2010. In 21 innings, Boucher scored 268 runs in 275 deliveries with a 17.86 average and a 97.45 strike rate. His highest score was 36* for the Proteas in the shortest international format. He struck 22 fours and just two sixes in his T20I career.
4.Peter McGlashan (95.31)
Former New Zealand wicketkeeper batter Peter McGlashan appeared in 11 T20 internationals. In nine innings, he scored just 61 runs at a mere average of 7.62 and a strike rate of just 95.31. The Kiwi struck six fours and just two sixes with the highest score of 26.
3.Ed Joyce (93.96)
Ed Joyce played international cricket for both England and Ireland. He played 18 T20Is, of which 16 came for Ireland and two for England. In 15 innings, the left-handed batter mustered 405 runs at an average of 33.75 and a strike rate of 93.96. His best score was 78* with 30 fours and five sixes.
