5 Players to Watch out for in WI vs NED ODI series

West Indies will tour the Netherlands for a three-match ODI series starting on May 31, 2022. The remaining two matches will take place on June 2 and June 4 and all the games will be staged at VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen. Both the teams have met each other only in two ODIs so far with the last one coming 11 years back in the 2011 World Cup. West Indies will start a new era under captain Nicholas Pooran after the retirement of Kieron Pollard and the series presents a good opportunity for players from either side to perform with the 50-over World Cup next year.

Let’s take a look at the 5 players to watch out for in West Indies vs Netherlands ODI series:

Nicholas Pooran

As Kieron Pollard decided to hang up his boots, the West Indies cricket board appointed Nicholas Pooran as their full-time white-ball captain. The left-handed power-hitter has played 37 ODIs since his debut in 2019. In 34 innings, Pooran has scored 1121 runs at an average of 40.03 and a strike rate of 98.85 with one century and eight fifties.
