4. IPL 2023
There is not much to define the madness in terms of fan following for the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the country. Year after year, fans wait for the lucrative T20 tournament to commence. This year too, fans will be gearing up and will cheer for their franchises with all their heart come April. Gujarat Titans will play their second IPL and are the reigning champions of the event.

If the T20 World Cup 2023 and the IPL was not enough already, BCCI confirmed that 2023 will see an all-exciting league being played by women. In the past few months, the PCB and BCCI have clashed off the ground and engaged in a war of words over the hosting rights of Asia Cup 2023. It will be an interesting event to witness yet another contest between the two arch-rivals, India and Pakistan in the Asian stage. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka emerged victorious in the 2022 season in the T20 format but this time around the question will be if they can pull it off in the 50-over format. The four-year wait for the biggest prize is over as India will look to win the coveted title after 12 years.
