5 batsmen with best strike-rate in T20 cricket

T20 cricket has entertained the cricket fans thoroughly with stalwarts from different quarters plying their trade in the format. The big hitters have been a great asset to the side in the shorter formats and they can turn around a game in very quick time. With all those said, let us look into 5 players with the highest strike rates in T20 cricket having scored a minimum of 2000 runs.

Andre Russell:

Andre Russell, as expected, is at the top of the list with a strike rate of 169.36. The West Indies all-rounder has been playing around the world in various leagues. He can strike the ball with great force and since 2010, Russell has scored 6446 runs in 393 T20 games at an average of 25.99. The New Zealand all-rounder might have fallen out of the favour in limited-overs international games, but is still a formidable force to reckon with. Since 2007, de Grandhomme has made 3817 runs in 231 games at an average of 23.42 and his strike rate of 157.92 is the second-best overall in the T20 format.

Shahid Afridi, popularly called the boom boom, is third on the list with a strike rate of 154.67 in T20s and he has been playing it since the emergence of the shorter format. The right-arm leg spinner started his career as a top-order batter for Pakistan and later moved into the middle order with bowling becoming his primary job. He has a strike rate of 154.67 in 327 T20 games and has scored 4405 runs.

Joe Clarke:

He has already scored three centuries in the format and the future looks really bright for the 25-year-old.
