All 10 Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises would be busy brainstorming with the mega auction for the 2022 event being around the corner. The bidding event will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. As many as 590 players – 228 capped, 355 uncapped and seven from Associate nations – will go under the hammer and would like to fetch substantial deals.

It must be noted that the eight existing franchises were allowed to retain a maximum of just four players. As far as the two new teams – Ahmedabad and Lucknow – are concerned, they picked three players apiece from the list of non-retained players. Meanwhile, names of many marquee cricketers will pop up in the auction event, for whom franchises won’t mind breaking the bank.

Meanwhile, let’s look at three 3 Players who might earn more than 10 crores in mega auction:

1. Ishan Kishan

Mumbai Indians would have been gutted after not being able to retain the wicketkeeper-batter. Kishan has been sensational in the last couple of seasons and his numbers speak volumes of his abilities. The southpaw can play anywhere in the batting order and his ability to attack bowlers from the outset makes him even more lethal. As Kishan can take the gloves as well, anything less than 10 crores for his services would be considered a steal.

2. Kagiso Rabada

Delhi Capitals’ decision of retaining Anrich Nortje instead of Kagiso Rabada surprised many fans. As the new franchises didn’t get the South African speedster either, he’s likely to set the auction event on fire. Rabada can set the speed gun on fire and can take wickets at any juncture of the game. In fact, he is one of the finest pacers going around. Hence, many franchises would like to get him on board.

3. Quinton de Kock

Like Kishan, Quinton de Kock is also a wicketkeeper-batter, who was released by Mumbai Indians. However, the Proteas star has proven his mettle at the highest level and is one of the best in the business. His ability to tackle spin well and play big knocks makes him a great asset. Hence, franchises have all the reasons to break their banks for the southpaw. Not to forget, the 29-year-old is retired from Tests now and will be available for the entire season
