Especially in the shortest international format, The T20 format, teams look to get as many runs as possible by batting first. By doing so, few have registered the biggest victories by bowling out the opposition cheaply.

3. Pakistan (143 runs)
Asian giant Pakistan finds itself in the third spot in this chart. The Men in Green defeated the Caribbean side West Indies by a margin of 143 runs in the first of the two T20Is in Karachi in the year 2018. Pakistan batted first and posted a massive total of 203/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Top four of the five batters scored above 35 runs each as they crossed the 200-run mark. In reply, the men in Maroon got out cheaply for just 60 in 13.4 overs. Two Mohammad’s, Amir and Nawaz, grabbed two wickets apiece while Shoaib Malik also took as many wickets as Pakistan trounced West Indies with Marlon Samuels top-scoring for his side with 18 runs.

It’s Pakistan again on this list as they humiliated Hong Kong this time around by a mammoth margin of 155 runs in Match 6 of Group A in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 tournament in Sharjah. Pakistan batted first and scored 193/2 in 20 overs. Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 78 off 57 while Fakhar Zaman and Khushdil Shah made 53 and 35* respectively. Chasing 194, Hong Kong got rattled for just 38 runs, their lowest total in T20 internationals and joint-ninth lowest overall. Shadab Khan wreaked havoc with his spell of 4/8 in just 2.4 overs while Nawaz also picked up 3/5 to spin their web.
1. Sri Lanka (172)
Another Asian side, Sri Lanka is on the top of this chart. They have scripted the largest victory in terms of runs in T20 internationals. The Island nation achieved the feat against Kenya in the inaugural T20 World Cup held in the year 2007. Batting first, Sri Lanka hammered 260/6 in 20 overs in Johannesburg. Sanath Jayasuriya and Mahela Jayawardene struck half-centuries while Jehan Mubarak played a blitz innings of 46* off just 13. In reply, the Kenyans got bundled out for just 88 with Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, and Tilakaratne Dilshan picking up two wickets each.
