3.Rishabh Pant and Devdutt Padikkal (35)
Left-handed batters Rishabh Pant and Devdutt Padikkal both reached the landmark of 1000 runs in the IPL in 35 innings. Pant, who made his debut in the year 2016, achieved the feat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2018. Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and current Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter, Padikkal made his debut in 2020 and touched the 1000 runs mark in the ongoing 2022 season.
2.Suresh Raina (34)
One of the faces of the Indian Premier League, southpaw Suresh Raina completed the landmark of 1000 runs in 34 innings. The left-handed batter is the second-fastest Indian to the record. Raina who had been a regular name in the league made his debut in Chennai Super Kings’s (CSK) opening match in the inaugural 2008 season and reached the milestone in the 2010 edition.
1.Sachin Tendulkar and Ruturaj Gaikwad (31)
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and CSK’s Ruturaj Gaikwad have both completed the landmark in 31 innings and are joint-top for fastest to 1000 IPL runs. Tendulkar, like Raina, also debuted in the opening season of 2008 and he achieved the record in the year 2010. The impressive right-handed batter Gaikwad played his first match in the 2020 edition and he got to the feat in CSK’s last match in the ongoing 2022 season when he scored 99 runs against SRH.
